The SOLI Monthly: March

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As you may know, Sons of Liberty International (SOLI) is conducting another military training mission with the Christian community in the Nineveh Plain region of Iraq.  SOLI founder Matthew VanDyke and three volunteer security trainers left the United States during the week of February 15, 2016 and arrived in Erbil, Kurdistan by Friday February 19th. The goal of the SOLI Spring 2016 Mission is to help prepare Iraqi Christian forces for upcoming offensive operations against ISIS. Successful participation in the Coalition against ISIS will bring more support to the Christian militias and allow them to provide lasting security to their community, so that Christians can return to their homes and the Christian religion is not eliminated from Iraq.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

At Sons of Liberty International (SOLI), Freedom is our Mission. We believe that freedom should not have a price tag. Since 2014, SOLI has been providing free services and supplies to Christian militias in the devastated Nineveh Plain region of Iraq in the fight against ISIS.
Three SOLI security advisers and trainers are now delivering the much-needed basic foundation that the brave men of the NPF (Nineveh Plain Forces, a Christian militia founded in 2015) so desperately need. The NPF (Nineveh Plain Forces) is made of civilians who are putting their lives on the line and who have stepped up to defend their community.
The men in the NPF (Nineveh Plain Forces), like the majority of the Assyrian/Chaldean Christian population in Iraq, were forced to flee suddenly from their homes in the summer of 2014. For nearly two years many Iraqi Christians have lived in camps. But they want to go home. The training SOLI provides will allow the NPF (Nineveh Plain Forces), like the NPU (Nineveh Plain Protection Units, another Christian militia that received training and support from SOLI in 2015), to participate more fully in the fight against ISIS and allow families to feel secure enough to return home after ISIS is destroyed.

But basics aren’t enough to defend against ISIS. The SOLI Spring 2016 Mission was designed to provide continuous, on-the-ground, and specialized training for the NPF (Nineveh Plain Forces) and other Christian militias.

This program expansion requires a significant investment in additional volunteer personnel, training services, and equipment and supplies, so that more Christian men in the NPF (Nineveh Plain Forces) and other Christian militias can be fully trained.

Happy New Year from Sons of Liberty Internernational

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Christmas and New Years is a time to celebrate the beginning and expanse of Christianity. Last year it came under heavy fire. Going into the New Year it is a time to unite against a group so evil it surpasses anything we’ve seen since medieval times.

Over the last month, Sons of Liberty International and its founder Matthew VanDyke have been in Iraq finalizing arrangements for a long-term training facility to substantially increase the ability of Christians to defend themselves and take the fight to ISIS. The December mission to Iraq also involved meetings with two additional Iraqi Christian forces, and we are finalizing plans to expand our programs to include them as well as all three Christian militias prepare to go on the offensive against ISIS in 2016.

The goal is to eliminate ISIS and ensure long-term defense of Christian lands so people return home, are not displaced internationally, and are able to protect themselves long into the future.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Watch the recent MAXIM and VICE piece about Sons of Liberty International” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEd_nqWLqUk” align=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”Sons of Liberty International and found Matthew VanDyke in Iraq this December making arrangements for this next important mission.” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”645″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_border”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”646″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_border”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”647″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_border”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”648″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_border”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Taking the Fight to ISIS – Pledge Your Support

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Whether you’ve been following SOLI’s efforts through our website, in national news, or across social media, you know we’ve been busy. We’re now launching monthly e-mails to keep our contributors in close contact about progress being made on the ground in the fight against ISIS.

Sons of Liberty International and its team of ex-military volunteers has been hard at work training Iraqis to fight ISIS and defend Christians with three successful missions and 330+ soldiers trained.

But ISIS is still not contained. There are thousands of displaced Christians and minorities who have no resources to help retake their own lands or protect themselves.

Matthew VanDyke will be back to the region shortly to expand SOLI’s operations and training programs.

The atrocities in Paris, Africa, and Lebanon are a vital reminder of the importance of taking the fight to ISIS. Taking decisive action here and now.

Pledge your support and help us destroy ISIS.

Just 18 months ago there were over 30,000 Christians in Mosul, Iraq. Today there are none. Mosul was home to one of the oldest Christian communities in the world, but in June of 2014 ISIS invaded and declared it part of the Islamic State. In 18 months, little progress has been made in recapturing Mosul, and thousands of Christians and minorities remain displaced from their homes in Mosul and the region.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”639″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”636″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”635″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”634″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
